Is The Curt Hitch Extension and Reducer supposed to have a bend in the tube?

Is it normal for this hitch to have a slight upward bend halfway down the extension?

Yes, this Curt Hitch Extension and Reducer # C45048 does have a slight bend in it and that is normal. It is hard to see this bend in our photos on the site but you can easily see in our product video that it does have the bend as it moves on the table.
