Suitable Mounting Location Requirements For Seaflo Diaphragm Pumps
Updated 06/11/2021 | Published 06/09/2021 >
Question:
Hello I’m planning on mounting this pump on my camp trailer. Is it okay to mount this under the trailer where dirt and water will get to it? If not is it okay to mount this in a water tight box? Thanks

The Seaflo Diaphragm Pump # SE96FR needs to be mounted in a dry location. There also needs to be adequate ventilation so that to ensure the internal thermal breaker doesn't interrupt operation. I would not mount it underneath your camper or inside a watertight box.
You can mount the pump in virtually any orientation, but if you mount it vertically the head of the pump must be in the down position.
