I would be happy to help!

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15316 you were looking at measures 9" from the top of the mounting flange to the top of the crosstube, so it will stick down 2" lower than the existing hitch on your 1999 Ford F-350.

The B&W # BWHDRH25230 is made for only a standard bumper, and will not clear you deep drop bumper.

I recommend the # C15316 as it will clear your bumper, and also has a Class V rating that you were looking for. This hitch has a tongue weight rating of 2400lbs and a trailer weight rating of 16000lbs. If using a weight distribution hitch the tongue weight stays the same at 2400lbs but the trailer weight rating gets increase to 17000lbs.

You will still need to check the owner's manual of your truck to find its towing capacity, and use the lower rating between the hitch and truck.

I included a link to the written instructions of the # C15316 for you to take a look at.

I’m interested in the curt #C15316 My 2000 f-350 chassis has been extended to accommodate the ambulance box it carries. What are the dimensions of the curt deep drop #C15316? Overall width? Bolt holes center to center? Mounting bracket length and width? I will need a deep drop hitch (8” min) Thanks in advance

@ChuckT Usually truck frames that have been modified like this, they won't have the standard mounting bolt setup that the other trucks will. You'll likely need something like the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # 15903 that can be modified to fit your application. I don't have all the dimensions readily available, but I do know the holes are spaced apart on center by 34-1/2" and that's the width. Does that seem to match what you have?
