I took the hitch off my 2001 2500hd pn # BWGNRK1067. I need to put it on my 2001 3500. Can i buy just the frame side plates from the bwgnrk1062 and reuse my hitch?

The answer to your question will depend on if your Silverado 3500 is the new body style or the old. If the truck has amber turn signal lenses on the back, then it's a new body style and would use the same exact hitch as your 2500, just swap it over. If you have the old body style, both the center section and the rails/brackets are different so you wouldn't be able to reuse your center section and would unfortunately need a complete new hitch, part # BWGNRK1062.
If your 3500 doesn't have a 7-way trailer connector installed in the truck bed you can install one using part
# C56000.
