2002 Ford Van Weight Limit for Roof Top Camping

Question:
Looking for the above rack, for a ford E350. what is the weight capacity of that rack? could it support a roof top tent with two people sleeping in it? 600lbs to be safe?

Your 2002 Ford Van will be able to handle of weight of a rooftop tent in conjunction with the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack - Gutter Mount - 100" Long x 62" Wide. part # RR43QX. In this case the ladder of the rooftop tent will actually act as an extra support to help with the weight of the tent and it's occupants. Per Pioneer, the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack - Gutter Mount - 100" Long x 62" Wide, part # RR43QX, maximum weight limit is your vehicle's maximum weight limit minus the weight of the platform. This platform weighs 109lbs.
