Replacing OEM Trailer Hitch on 2010 Ford Ranger with Curt Hitch 13019
Updated 05/28/2021 | Published 05/27/2021 >
Question:
The previous owner of my 2010 Ford Ranger XL Regular Cab 2.3 I4 did some welding on the OEM trailer hitch, so I am considering replacing it since I dont know how much the integrity of the hitch has been compromised. Will part 13019 fit without any additional drilling?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13019 is a fit for a 2010 Ford Ranger. It can be used to replace a factory hitch no problem. It does state in the instructions that drilling is required for some models but it should not be required if you already have a factory hitch in place. Therefore, there should be no modifications needed.
