Replacement for Dometic GC6AA-10E

Question:

I am an trying to find an exact replacement for a Dometic GC6AA-10E water heater. The service place Im currently working with is telling me they cannot find ANY water heaters that are an exactinch replacement, or one that would just fit in the opening of the current GC6AA-10E. Any help you could give me would be MUCH appreciated. I have bought many hitches from your company in the past, as recently as a week ago. Your company is my go-to place for hitches, just noticed maybe you could help with this, sure hope so because I trust you guys. Need Atwood/Dometic Water Heater.

If you are wanting an exact replacement, we do not carry the Dometic GC6AA-10E. We do carry the Atwood RV water heater we currently have is the # AT94022. This is a gas/electric with automatic pilot that operates at 120 Volt on electric. It is a 10,000 Btu unit with a 10 Gallon tank. The # AT94022 dimensions are 16" tall x 15-1/2" wide x 20-7/8" deep with a 17-3/4" tall x 18" wide door. The Double-Panel On/Off Switch # AT91230 will allow you to power the electric and gas components on and off individually. It mount in your coach for easy operation. From the specs available to me, the Dometic GC6AA-10E has a cut-out size of 12-5/8" H x 16-1/4" W x 17-5/8" D and the actual unit dimensions are 16" W x 12-1/2" H x 18" D.
