Thank you. Also, Do I need to cut the bumper to accommodate the hitch? The pictures posted suggest that I might have to trim/cut a bit of the bumper.

The Curt hitch part # C13172 is a fit for your 2014 Jeep Cherokee front wheel drive and would be a really great option as it has plenty of towing capacity and also is mostly hidden since only the hitch opening hangs below the rear bumper.
