Question:

How much weight does this hitch add over the stock Ford hitch - 2000 F-250? We have this hitch with a camper mounted on the truck bed. We ran the rig over a scale and found that the rear axle is substantially overloaded. Thanks.

The Torklift SuperHitch Magnum # TLF1002-30 weighs 140-lbs; I'm not sure how much the factory hitch weighs, but I'm guessing that it's likely around 40-50lbs.

If you're having issues with sag on your 2000 Ford F-250 then you might want to consider adding a suspension enhancement like the Sumo Springs Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS84VR, which will help reduce sag, fight sway and keep your truck leveled. These offer a no-drill installation and simply bolt on to replace your factory bump stops and are a really nice solution to correct sag when towing or carrying items in the truck bed.
