The Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer # MAL53FR does not include any of the vehicle side wiring.
The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11143885 is the simplest way to add the 4-way flat connection that you need on your 2016 Subaru Outback.
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98847 is the receiver I recommend if you do not already have one on your 2016 Subaru Outback.
