Question:

We have a 2019 Ford F-250 Super-duty Crew Cab and plan to purchase a topper/shell for it with Rhino tracks pre-installed. We’d like to then put two Hullavators on top for our kayaks which weigh 45# each. According to the Ford specs, the truck is 80” wide, and the Hullavator requires 4” min overhang, so we’d need a bar 88” wide. Is my math correct and is such a bar available from Rhino or Thule?

I have a solution for you.

First, though, there aren't crossbars that are 88" long. You won't be able to use the Thule Hullavator, part # TH898, but we have another option to help assist loading your kayak. It's the Malone DownLoader, part # MPG114MD, coupled with the Telos XL Load Assist for Malone J-Style Kayak Carriers, part # MPG351XL. This will be a big help getting your kayak loaded on the camper of your 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty.

For the roof system, since you will have Rhino-Rack tracks, I will recommend using the Track Mount RLTF Legs for Rhino-Rack RTC- and RT-Style Roof Rack Tracks, part # RLTF. They work with Rhino-Rack Square Bars and Aero Bars.

For the crossbars themselves, I recommend the Vortex Aero Crossbar - Aluminum - Silver - 79" Long, part # RRVA200S-2. They're the longest available from Rhino-Rack (the longest from Thule measure the same, by the way), and they work with the RLTF Legs and the DownLoader.
