Question:
Hi. I am looking for a weight distribution hitch system but, I cant find one that will work with my trailer. All of the one I look at are made for a c-channel trailer tongue with about a 2inch lip. My trailer tongue has an I-beam frame that is 4inch wide across the top. Do they make any systems or replacement lift brackets similar to RP6637 that will span the 4inch frame instead of the 2inch -2 1/2inch standard frame width? Thanks for any info you can provide.

Expert Reply:
For a wider I-beam frame like what you have the best solution for weight distribution chain hangers would be to first have a welder box the frame where you'd need to attach the hangers and then use bolt on hangers like the part # RP58305.
