Will an Old Town Saranac 146 DXL fit on the Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer with Post Style Carrier for 4 Kayaks

The Malone # MAL63FR is meant for boats up to 14 feet in length. As your Old Town Saranac 146DLX is almost 15 feet long, the # MAL63FR wouldn't be a good choice as the bow of the canoe would sit too close to the rear of the tow vehicle which could possibly damage the canoe or vehicle. I'd recommend a longer trailer like # MPG460G which can handle boats up to 20 feet long, which would work better with your canoe.

To secure the canoe to the trailer's crossbars, you can use the # MPG156 kit which includes foam blocks that fit around the crossbars, straps to secure the canoe to the crossbars and bow/stern tie downs.
