I went ahead and called my contact at GCH Automotive Systems, and he confirmed that the tailgate camera will work in the rear view mirror (without a dash display), but it requires a lot of re-wiring to use the Custom Third Brake Light Camera # 3460006.The first step would be to look for factory camera wiring and he would have to hardwire it into the radio. This will work, but not with the T-harness. All of the wiring is found in the back of the radio plate.
