In summary, you'll remove the existing 3rd brake lamp, and install the new one after feeding the wiring harness into the opening on the rear of the cab above the rear window. Make sure the foam gasket is in place, adding a bead of silicone or butyl tape is recommended to ensure the seal between the lamp housing and the truck cab is watertight.

Feed the harness up to the front of the vehicle, routing the wiring under the threshold plates is typically the easiest route. The harness will plug inline at the rear of the factory monitor as shown in the diagram on the instructions sheet.

I have it install but it is showing backup lines and I don't need them. How do I turn them off and no it is not my monitor. I have that feature turned off and double checked using a second monitor.
