Custom bezel with camera mounts behind your third brake light. Line up your fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer using your vehicle's factory monitor. Switch kit lets you toggle between views from your backup camera and third brake light camera.

The rear assist lines generated by the system's camera make connecting your fifth wheel camper or gooseneck trailer a one-person job. The lines appear on your 8" factory monitor and show the distance from other objects, allowing you to accurately line up your connection point when hooking up your camper or trailer.
0 Lux night vision produces a quality picture and gives you the flexibility you need when hooking up your camper or trailer. You can line up your connection point in low-light conditions at dusk, or in complete darkness at night without the aid of IR transmitters.
The switch kit adds a new dimension to your current setup, allowing you to toggle between views from your truck bed camera and factory backup camera with the flip of a switch. The integrated flip switch can be mounted inside of your truck to give you a clean OEM look and easy access.
Simply unscrew and unplug your factory third brake light. Once removed, set your new custom bezel with camera in place. Feed the 6' camera wire through the opening into your truck and re-install your factory third brake light in front of the custom bezel.
Connect your 6' camera wire to the 18' wiring harness. This combined 24' wire will extend through your head liner or door sill panel along the edge of the floor, up to the front of your truck, and connect with the included ground and power wiring harness. The power wire will run to your truck's battery.
The switch kit installs by connecting one end of the included T-harness into the factory plug behind your radio, and the other end into the back of your radio. The integrated power wire for the flip switch will run to 12V accessory power.
This showed up quickly even during the Christmas rush. The install was easy with the provided video. I did not use the switch that was provided, instead I used my factory up-fitter switch since I didn't want to drill any unnecessary holes. The camera displays on the factory 8" screen just like the tailgate camera with the flip of a switch. I can now back up to my gooseneck trailer without all the guessing. I can now see it easily! I wish I had found this option years ago!
The product works, but the rear camera is not mounted perpendicular but rather skewed so the view backing up to the camper is lopsided. It looks like the camera will adjust left and right but nothing to get it where it should be. It's better than nothing at all, but for the price I'm rather disappointed.

I would like to look into the issue with the skewed picture in the camera. Can you confirm the year, make, and model of your truck? Would you also be able to send a picture of the installed camera?
Great addition, not a great picture but very helpful in connecting a fifth wheel or gooseneck.
Bought this for my father in law, easy installation with the help of the provided video, and great product.

Ford add on rear view truck bed camera makes hitching my fifth wheel camper very easy giving me full view of truck bed and hitch line up from within the cab. Installation was a little more difficult then I first thought but was able to figure a way to install wiring in the sealing area. Could not get rear view camera to work at first, contacted etrailer and was cent an e mail with a picture of the wiring diagram fully connected and found a step was left out and made changes and camera worked grate. etrailer has grate support staff and user friendly. Went on a 6000 mile trip in the fall and visited the Mid West and visited 13 National Parks.
Very easy to install had to return the first one did not work. This one works great you should check it all out before running all the wires. I did that this time and it all worked then I installed it all works great. The return thing with etrailer is very good they are all great people to work with. They will get you the answers you need

Works great no problems
This camera conversion kit works great on my F250. I can use it with the original tailgate and have two views backing up. I can also use a goosneck tailgate and still have a view of the bed as I backup to the trailer. Easy install, good camera function. Had to add a dab of silicone to their gasket.
Excellent quality camera! It is so nice to have a view of the bed while backing up. I imagine it also will help with backing up when I have the tailgate down. Install was pretty easy after watching the excellent video here on etrailer. I would have been lost without it as the printed installation instructions are terrible. Also, it would have been nice if it included everything needed like the self-tapping screws and fuse tap and such, given the price. So knocking a star for those things. But otherwise I'm really happy with it and it is a must-have upgrade for any truck owner.
I am verry satisfied with this purchase. Backing up to my fifth wheel is much easier. Before, I’d do a pretty good job most of the time aligning the hitch with the king pin but this makes my success rate much higher. I opted to have my mechanic install it as I wanted the camera connected to one of my Aux upfitter switches and none of the online instructions I found clearly showed how to do it. Very happy with his work and the overall result.

Great camera to use when hooking up to my Goosebox. Connected to one of my uplifter switches in 2016 F350 Dually and works awesome. Highly recommend!
Great product easy install. Would have been 5 stars but I dont like having to put a splice to extend the power wire. Should have built a harness with a long power wire to cut to length. Other than that total happy with it.
Received the camera and installed it. I watched the installation video on the etrailer site and i was very helpful. The camera works great.
I just installed this on my 2015 F250. The install was extremely simple and took me less than hour. Love that I can use factory screen to see the camera . I was able to install this with my truck having the Sync 3 radio which I think comes on the 2017 and newer trucks. Also I have a Recon 3rd break light and just had to make minor adjustment to camera frame to make it work with that break light. In the end very pleased with the product and easy of use and set up.
Product is great works well. Installation instructions were vague and required some trial and area. Once I figured out what needed power the installation went well.
The way the camera bracket is designed, it is not compatible with after market 3rd brake lights. However, some modification to the bracket may allow it to fit.

Our experience has been horrible. This item was returned and another was purchased at the recommendation of one of the techs and it still doesn't work. Needless to saw we've paid for an item we cannot return and doesn't work for our vehicle. Will not purchase from you again (and we've ordered from you many times).

We have not heard of the camera shorting out in the truck. This camera does have a three year warranty and I will have customer service reach out to you.
