I would really like to get old round bar setup off my truck cab and get a Overhaul HD setup. Only thing holding me back is trying to find a way to mount my King Cobra bike carriers to the HD bars. No one seems to know for sure if the Universal Mighty Mounts fit the newer HD cross bars, do you?

Your older style KingCobra bike rack can't be adapted to fit the T-slots of newer bars or fit around the Overhaul HD # Y01151-58 setup that fits your 2001 Chevy Silverado so you'd need to go with a new rack similar to it like the HighRoad part # Y75FR. This rack holds the bike by the wheel like the KingCobra but can fit into the top channels of the Overhaul.
