How can i mount an older Yakima ski rack to a Rhino Aero bar? I need a vertical mount as opposed to the 39H mighty mount. Thanks

On your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with black and chrome roof rails the Rhino-Rack RVP Roof Rack # RRRVP27 is confirmed to fit. The Rola APE rack has a slick aftermarket look and will mount directly to the flush roof rails on your 2018 Grand Cherokee. The crossbars in both options are 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall so the Mighty Mount 39H Accessory Adapter for Yakima CoreBar and JetStream Crossbars - Qty 4 # Y03539 will fit and allow you to use your older Yakima ski rack.

Thanks for the photo. I reached out to my tech contact at Yakima and you will want the Universal MightyMounts for Yakima Roof Mounted Accessories # Y03590 which comes with a "snow" adapter to make it compatible with your rack. I've attached the installation details to assist. These will absolutely fit the Rhino-Rack crossbars as well.
