I need to span almost 8 ft across the roof of my Shuttle Bus. Will ANY kind of Unistrut mount to these brackets?

I have a possible solution for you, but there are not any crossbars that will extend all the way to 8' feet. I recommend going with the Rhino-Rack RT-Style Roof Rack Tracks - Rivet Mount - 74" # RRRTV188 which is are 74" long tracks running front to back along your roof that the crossbar legs will attach to. If you want the crossbars spaced out more, then the longest tracks available are the 92-5/16" version # RRRTS518.

Then you will need to install Rhino-Rack Quick Mount Legs # RRRLT600 onto these tracks. Finally, you can now install the longest crossbar setup we have which is Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar Black 79" # RRVA200B-2.

This is the complete kit which will need to be riveted into your roof and will provide you with 2 crossbars measuring 79" across the width of your roof. I attached a helpful installation video for you to check out.
