Question:

What hitch would you recommend to purchase please? I was told they couldn’t order one because of the premium package. Does it have to do with the wiring? Thanks for your help.

For the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, I'd recommend the Curt Class III, part # C13290. This hitch has a great capacity and Curt does a nice job on their powder coat finish, so the finish should prove to be durable over time. Curt lists this hitch as a confirmed fit for all models of the 2018 GLC 300, unless the vehicle is equipped with the factory hitch.

Because vehicles equipped with the Premium Package have different taillight assemblies, the plug and play taillight wiring harness won't be compatible but a hardwired option is available as part # C59496. If you also need a ball mount, I'd recommend # D-28 along with a # PC3 hitch pin. For a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, use
# 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
