Question:

The installation instructions say this hitch will fit frames up to 41 inches. The frame rails on my Ranger are 43 1/4 inches wide. Will this hitch not work? Plus my Ranger has the factory bumper reinforcement brackets mounted. Please tell me if I need to look at a different hitch.

Curt confirms that the # C13900 will only fit frame widths of up to 41 inches, so it wouldn't be compatible with your truck.

I'd recommend going with a custom fit hitch like the Curt # C13417, which has a higher capacity at 6000 lbs towing/8000 lbs if used with weight distribution and 600 lb tongue weight/900 lbs if used with weight distribution. No drilling is required for installation. Curt confirms that the hitch is a fit for all 2020 Ranger models.
