Question:

I have a Elite EEDV06 AM/FM/CD/DVD/Bluetooth Drive unit and need to replace it. Will the part # DV1230BL? replace that unit as plug in or must I rewire it all? If so will there be instructions or support? Is the measurements of the units the same?

Yes, you can use the Furrion # DV1230BL stereo receiver to replace your Elite EEDV06 model. They are both double-DIN size, so it should fit right in the opening left by the Elite. The Furrion has many of the same features and some updated features as well. Also, I feel the Furrion brand is superior in quality and customer service.

There is not a radio with an exact match for the wiring harness that came on the Elite, however, changing the wiring is a simple process. All the connections for the back of the radio are already there. Simply remove the told Elite wiring harness from the RV wiring, then connect the RV wiring to the Furrion wiring harness. Once those connections are made, plug the new harness into the new Furrion receiver.

I have attached the wiring harness legend for both the Elite and Furrion models. I good quality crimper like the Power Tools # PTW30764 will make solid connections easily. Use butt connectors like the Deka 05731-5 butt connectors 5-pack. (You will need about 20)
