I just bought a 2021 2500 hd with factory puck system and its not the same dimension as my 2019 puck system so instead of buying a complete companion can I just buy a new base and put my old head on it?

You sure can get just the base and connect the head to it. If you have the 20,000lbs you'll need the Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC - 20,000lbs Item # BWRVB3710 or if you have the 25,000lbs you'll need the Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC - 25,000lbs Item # BWRVB3715.

The 2020 GM OEM rail kit is different from the previous years which is what the #BWRVB3710 fits so you'd need the part #BWRVB3715 which would allow you to install the head of your current hitch on it and you'd have a complete hitch which…

The difference between the two is the weight capacity. The part #BWRVB3710 is rated 20,000 lbs and the part #BWRVB3715 is rated for 25k capacity.
