In most cases with older trailers with short bed trucks, a sliding hitch is going to be required to keep the nose of the trailer from contacting the truck cab during a tight turn; newer trailers have been better at creating v-nose type construction at the front, which reduces the instances in which a sliding hitch is needed.

If you decide that you don't need a sliding hitch for your 2021 Silverado 3500 with the OEM prep package you can use the B&W Companion hitch # BWRVK3710 (20k capacity) or # BWRVK3715 (25k capacity), which will drop into your factory pucks. If you already have a B&W Companion hitch head then you can simply swap the legs out to the # BWRVB3715, which will also fit in your factory pucks.

If you want to check out the other hitches that are compatible with the factory pucks on your 2021 Silverado 3500, I've gone ahead and linked those for you to check out-the ones of the 8ft bed so you can see all of the static hitches for your truck instead of the sliders.
