Aluminum Roof Seam Waterproofing Recommendations

Have some seams on a aluminum trailers. Would this be applied to the seams to prevent from leaking and would i need to apply a UV roof coating?

Item # QR94FR has a TPO Coating and won't require a UV roof coating but will not accept any paint colors so you would be stuck with the white color of this tape.

Item # QR77FR is about .20mm thicker and made with a paintable coating on it so you could match whatever color your trailer is.

Both items will stick to your camper with the same kind of adhesive you'd find in butyl tape # AL53FJ and the tech warned me that you'll want to make sure you have it exactly where you want it when applying because it has a strong hold.
