Atwood water heater gc6aa-10e location of the heating element. Can’t fined heating element and electric won’t heat tank

Take a look at the accompanying diagram I added for you, and you can see where the heating element is on your Atwood water heater GC6AA-10E; it is number 17 in the diagram and on the back of the unit, so the heater will need to be removed to do the repair, which should only be done by a qualified professional due to the inherent dangers.
The correct replacement element and tool are the following:
- Camco Water Heater Element # CAM02103
- Camco Wrench for Screw-In Water Heater Element # CAM09883
