Question:
I am converting to EOH so I need new coupler. I like this model but holes do not line up according to your diagram. Is it safe to drill new holes? I have a Titan Model 6 surge o magic. 7500 # capacity, 2 5/16 ball.

For replacing your Titan Model 6 # T4747220 I recommend the Demco Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # DM15931-95. They will share the same 3" and 2" bolt bolt hole separation that you are currently using on your trailer.
You will need a etrailer Coupler Lock # e98888 if you wish to lock this coupler as it requires a 3" minimum span.
