Question:
I have a 2018 Keystone Cougar 28RDB and would like to install a rear trailer hitch. I have looked at the #13703 but dont think it s down enough to go underneath the rear bumper. The I-beaminch runs to the rear, but then there is tube steel welded to the bottom. The tube steel is where the bumper is welded to. What is your recommendation?

It is difficult to make an accurate recommendation without understanding the available measurements that would allow fitment. But if you do not think there is enough room for a frame mounted hitch due to a steel tube welded to the bumper, does that steel tube provide solid enough situation for a bumper mounted hitch? What are the dimensions of the bumper on your 2018 Keystone Cougar 28RDB? We have the Stromberg Carlson 2" Hitch Receiver for RV Bumpers, # BA-100. This clamp-on receiver attaches to your 4" x 4" or 4" x 4-1/2" RV bumper and provides a 2" x 2" receiver opening for a hitch-mounted bike rack, cargo carrier, or other accessory.
Please note the links to product review and installation videos. We have several options available in bumper mounted hitches. Please let us know the measurements available if what I have linked does not show a product you think will work.
