Can The EcoHitch Stealth 2 Trailer Hitch Be Used With Non-Trailer Loads?

Question:
Hi, Im carrying forward from my previous question trying to get a setup for my 2019 Audi A4 Allroad to carry 2 heavy e-bikes on a trailer hitch. The eTrailer response recommended the Subject hitch, which looks great except that the specs 200lb TW and 2000lb Tow would place it as a Class 1 hitch. The associated video calls it a Class 3. My issue is that I already got a Class 1 hitch Curt 1 1/4inch Class 1 installed, but AFTER it was installed I found out from the Curt Tech Support that their 200lb tongue weight was NOT intended for unsupported loads! It was meant for trailer tongue load. So, is the Subject EcoHitch unit also restricted in this way or can it be used as is to carry my 2 ebikes? I know it has a 2inch receiver but I need a hitch for this car that can carry my 2 ebikes without having to add support straps up above somehow. The ebikes are 50lbs each but I can get them down to 40lbs each for transport if I have to. Please advise. Thanks

The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 306-X7370 is considered Class 1, but it is indeed compatible with a bike rack and it does not require only trailer loads. However, you can also use your current Curt hitch receiver with a different bike rack that fits the 1-1/4" opening. The Curt # C11448 hitch receiver that is confirmed to fit your vehicle has instructions that state the following: All non-trailer loads applied to this product must be supported by stabilizing strap # 18050. This would be a cheaper and easier route since you already have the Curt 1-1/4" receiver installed on your 2019 Audi A4 Allroad.
For a bike rack that fits this receiver and also can accommodate your 40lb e-bikes (with battery removed), I would look at the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # HR200Z. The weight capacity for this bike carrier is 45lbs per bike. I attached a few demonstration videos for you.
