Question:
With a lube plate installed, the sleeve wont fit properly. I dont want to have to take the lube plate off each time I want to use the lock. Any suggestions?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Other than removing the lube plate (which you understandably don't care to do), if I were in your situation, I'd use an angle grinder to take a small amount of material off of the sleeve of the # UF48-979008 king pin lock to reduce its height. If you were to take about 1/8 of an inch off the height of the sleeve, it will work just fine with a lube plate.
