Replacement Remote for Happijac Electric Truck Camper Jack

Question:

Hello, I just purchased a 2000 Bigfoot Camper 3000 series that has a Happijac 4100 system. The problem is that when the Trailer business who sold me the camper broke the remote controller for the Happijac system. The person getting the camper ready stretched the cord to max length and she lost her grip and flung from her hands and controller was destroyed. They ordered a new controller for me but it does not work. I reset the receiver, checked fuses, tried to program the remote and nothing is working. The light on the controller is on but for some reason is not talking with the receiver even with the cord plugged in. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Any suggestions or thoughts on why the system is not working. Thank you,

It's possible the cable was damaged which we offer as a replacement with part # LC149557. That would be what I would try next since you said the cable was stretched. I would assume that the shop who's employee damaged the unit should cover the cost though...
