Question:
I have a 2021 Yayco Precept 31UL. It is prewired for an electronic brake connector. Can you tell me where the connector plug is under the dash? Im planning to order a proportional Brake controller, I have the harness for connecting a controller, but I cannot find the connector plug under the dash. Thank you

For your 2021 Jayco Precept 31UL on a Ford F53 Chassis they most likely prewired it by just running four wires and taping them together under the dash somewhere without attaching a connector plug. If you can't find that then here are the steps you need to take to wire your brake controller:
First you need the brake controller which I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is an extremely reliable controller that has great features like an easy to read LCD screen and built in diagnostics that are easy to read and understand and you'll also need the wiring kit # 5506
Then you'll need to make the following connections:
Blue wire of # 90195 to factory brake output wire, this is typically a blue wire and can be found by tracing the wire from the 7-way connector back towards the cab.
Black wire of # 90195 to battery of your Jayco with a 20 amp circuit breaker included in the # 5506 if the trailer you are towing has 2-4 braking assemblies (1-2 axles) or the 30 amp circuit breaker included in the # 5506 if the trailer has 6-8 braking assemblies (3-4 axles)
White wire of # 90195 to negative terminal of battery
Red wire of # 90195 to cold side of stop light switch that only has power when brake pedal is pressed. Using circuit tester # PTW2993 will help you find the correct wire.
