Question:
Id like to install the Lippert Road Armor Equalizer to replace the stock Dexter 13-122. It appears the width of the Lippert is less than the Dexter, is that going to be an issue? Also looking to replace all the shackles and sleeves for all the moving parts in the leaf springs and would like some options. I called and they said you no longer carry the Lippert Never Fail Shackles Kit, is that true? That was my first choice. I see Lippert item# LC52SV that seems expensive for what you get. MORyrde item#MR98ZR seems to be a complete kit. Any other suggestions? Thanks

In order to use the # LC696740 Lippert Road Armor cushioned equalizer kit, you'll want to go with longer shackle links, assuming you're currently running 2-1/4 inch links. Going with a 3-1/8 inch link will make up that width difference.
Lippert recommends the # LC52SV AP Wet Bolt/Shackle link kit for use with the Road Armor equalizer. The MORyde # MR98ZR is designed for suspensions that use their Correct Track suspension system.
The Lippert Never fail kit has been discontinued.
Another option would be the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit, part # K71-653-00 which is Dexter's recommended upgrade for their 13-122 equalizer. The kit includes wet bolts and 2-1/4 inch shackles. This equalizer has the same width as your existing equalizer, and wouldn't change the suspension geometry.
