Question:

2013 dodge caravan.... 2 bikes carry...will it fit...after removing bikes can i access the back of my van?

The Thule OutWay you mentioned, part # TH45JV will indeed fit on the liftgate of your 2013 Grand Caravan.

Thule strongly recommends that the rack be removed before the liftgate is opened. The gas struts on the liftgate are designed to suspend a specific amount of weight, there is no telling if the extra weight of the carrier could cause the liftgate to unexpectedly close. Additionally, the shock caused when the liftgate slams shut could damage the vehicle or the rack.

Since the rack is so easy to install and remove, you will be better off removing it to access the cargo area. You will find that removing and reinstalling the rack takes no time at all..

To carry women's bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # 64005 is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
