Question:

is the composite latch handle replaceable if broken? I would like to buy this but would like to have a replacement on hand. And is e9887 locking for this?

I'm happy to say that the answer to both of your questions is yes! There is a replacement latch you can get for the Demco A-frame coupler so you can have one on hand, and the lock you mentioned is the correct one for the coupler. So here is exactly what you will need:

- Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler - eZ-Latch - 10K # DM14793-81

- Demco Composite eZ-Latch Repair Kit # DM6109

- etrailer Surge Brake Coupler Lock # e98887

This will give you a really nice coupler set up, and that was a smart idea to go ahead and get the replacement latch now just to have one on hand in case you should need it.
