Question:
I have a few questions regarding securing the bow and stern of kayaks. When tying down the bow and stern of 3 kayaks, should there be 1 front and back tie down for each Kayak, or can I run one long strap through all 3 kayaks for the front and another for the back? Also, how many kayaks can be attached to each TH529\TH530 quick loops? Should I have a quick loop on each side of the hood so the strap\rope has an inverted V look, or can I just wrap the tie down\rope around the same TH529\TH530?

Expert Reply:
When tying down your kayaks on a carrier # TH830, I recommend having a bow and stern strap # TH521 for each kayak. This will be much more secure especially when you're traveling at highway speeds. This also goes for your hood loops # TH529. It is ideal to have one for each strap. I would recommend putting a tie down on each side of your vehicle.
