Is the etrailer # e67ZR Tow Bar the Same As the Demco Excali-Bar III?

Question:

I want to replace my Blue Ox Aventa LX tow bar after reading about several bar failures. The etrailer XHD #e67ZR appears to be identical to the Demco Excaliber III tow bar at a more reasonable price. Is this bar made by Demco, can be serviced by Demco, use Demco parts if necessary, and is the warranty the same? I have purchased several etrailer labeled products and been very happy with them and friends who are happy with the Demco tow bars so I hope this is the case. Thank you

Yes, the etrailer # e67ZR tow bar is made for etrailer by Demco in the USA and has a lifetime limited warranty by etrailer. Demco parts will work on this tow bar, but Demco has no responsibility for warranty, repair, or service - you would need to go through etrailer for that. If I were you I would buy the etrailer tow bar.
