Question:
I have previously bought the etrailer j-style kayak carrier per your teams recommendation, and it has been great to carry my Pelican Mustang 120x 47lb and 12. I am now thinking about buying a Thule Hullivator from etrailer.com in order to carry my Ocean Malibu 2 XL kayak 68lbs, 14. I have a 2018 Sienna with 53inch Thule Aeroblade crossbars. Would this setup be possible on my vehicle? Would there be enough width and room on my cross bars for both the Hullivator and the etrailer j-carrier together? In addition, would my vehicle be able to sustain this amount of load on the roof? Ive been told the Sienna can sustain 150lbs or 165lb by different websites, but I am not sure. Thank you in advance for your advice. Love your shop for its expertise and helpfulness.

I have a possible solution for you.
First, though, the Thule Hullavator Pro, part # TH898, won't work with your setup. Though the space works out for you, but the weight does not. The weight limit of your 2018 Toyota Sienna's roof is, in fact, 150 pounds. Your two kayaks together weigh 135 pounds, and the etrailer J-Style Carrier, part # e98878, weighs 10 pounds for a total of 145 pounds. That means you only have 5 more pounds for another carrier, and the Hullavator weighs 40 pounds.
Unfortunately, you simply won't be able to carry both kayaks on your roof at the same time. The only thing you can do to carry both kayaks with your Sienna is to use a kayak trailer like the Malone MicroSport Trailer with J-Style Carriers for 2 Kayaks, part # MPG461G2.
To do that, you will need a hitch, wiring, and a ball mount. If you decide to go this route, then let me know if you already have any of those, and I can recommend the remaining components. I've linked to a video review of the trailer for your consideration.
