Kayak Carrier, Sup Carrier & Cargo Box For 2017 Toyota RAV4 With Factory Roof Rack

We can get your 2017 Toyota RAV4 with a factory roof rack set up with a carrier for your kayak and SUP and also a cargo box. I checked and it looks like your RAV4's roof rack is flush-mounted with 43 inch long crossbars, which is limiting in regards to space, and something to keep in mind here as we along. That said, let's start with the carriers, and you'll need a different carrier for your SUP and kayak as there isn't an all-in-one carrier. To get both to fit, the kayak carrier will need to be a J-style carrier so the kayak can be on its side. What I recommend are options from Rhino-Rack:

- Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # Y04073

- Rhino-Rack Nautic Roof Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # RR570

The JayLow is for the kayak and the Nautic will be for the SUP; the JayLow is a confirmed fit for your RAV4's roof rack, and is 20 inches wide, so that will leave 23 inches for the SUP. Then for the roof box, you may be able to add one to use with your SUP, but again, that will depend on the width of the SUP, and you'll need the narrowest cargo box, which is from Yakima:

The Cargo16 is 27-7/8 inches wide, so you'll want to use that determination to know if it will allow you to fit both the SUP and cargo box on your RAV4's roof. If not, you can still carry cargo with a hitch and cargo carrier, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98864 with the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18113.
