Question:
I would like to install a Tow-Pro Elite brake controller in my 2020 Chevrolet Blazer. It came from the factory with the V92 option extra cooling, 2inch receiver hitch and 7 pin plug wiring harness. The wiring harness is supposed to have the wires for a brake controller deadheaded somewhere behind the side kickplate by the fuel pedal. I have made several inquiries locally about installing an electric brake controller in my Blazer. None of the Chevrolet or GM dealers Ive talked to have installed a brake controller on a Blazer. Are the following the only parts I will need to complete the install? I see Redarc also has a 30 amp circuit breaker kit 331-CBK30-EB but I think the wiring harness from the Chevrolet factory is wired to the fuse box in the engine compartment already. 1 Tow-Pro Elite electric brake controller. EBRH-ACCV3-NA 2 Universal mount. TPSI-001 3 Universal pig-tail universal wiring harness TPH-025 Are all these parts INCLUDED when you purchase the EBRH-ACCV3-NATow-Pro Elite or do they have to be ordered separately? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Our Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR will contain what you need to install the brake controller in your 2020 Chevrolet Blazer that came with the factory 7 way. You shouldn't require a circuit breaker # 331-CBK30-EB as this should all be included in the factory harness. The wiring is behind the side kickplate by the fuel pedal. Your Blazer being a new vehicle line doesn't have a lot of information available. But the good news is it shares the same chassis as the GMC Acadia that has been in production on that chassis since 2017.
The universal mount is optional and will depend on where you decide to mount your controller. There are some vehicles that it fits better without using the mount and just have the controller. I think your Blazer fits those vehicles.
