Question:

I have a 2002 dodge dakota SLT quad cab that i recently bought CIPA tow mirrors #10500 for. They didnt fit and upon further research i believe i have kool vue OE compatable folding mirror that measures 6 1/4 by 10 1/5 inches. Not sure if it came with them or a previous owner added them. Is there a CIPA mirror similar to the 10501 that will fit this mirror or am i going to have to go a different route?

All of the custom fit towing mirrors that we carry are designed for stock regular mirrors. Upgraded mirrors, either as an option from the manufacturer or dealer, or aftermarket mirrors are usually not covered. The only custom towing mirrors we have for the 2002 Dodge Dakota are the ones you have that do not fit.

The other option is to go with a universal type of towing mirror. I have included a link to the options for you. Mirrors that have straps like # 7070 require that the vehicle mirrors have a gap between the glass and housing to fit. A mirror like # 11650 has clips that fit at the bottom of the door and window and will have less vibrations and good viability.
