There are a few different types of bike racks available for your 2017 GMC Acadia SLE.

Starting with a trunk mounted bike rack I recommend the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms # Y02634 which is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will accommodate up to two bikes weighting up to 35 lbs each. This is a great option due to the ant-sway cradles that keep your bikes from hitting each other while going down the road. It also features integrated locks for both the rack and the bikes.

The other option is a hitch mounted bike rack of which I recommend the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR which can accommodate up to 4 bikes weighing up to 35lbs each. The Hitching Post has anti-sway cradles keeping your bikes from hitting each other, and also tilts to allow you access to the rear cargo area of your Acadia.

If you do not already have a trailer hitch receiver you would need to add one. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13293 which will work perfectly with the # TH934XTR.
