Question:

I am interested in installing a 2 bike hitch for 2021 GLA 250. Please advise what you recommend. Since car is a lease can the hitch be removed? Where can this be installed?

Hitch bike racks mount onto a trailer hitch receiver. There are currently not any trailer hitch receivers available for your 2021 Mercedes Benz GLA so you will want to go with a trunk-mounted bike rack instead. This is usually a cheaper and easier route anyways.

I recommend looking into Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms # Y02634. This attaches to the trunk of your vehicle and allows you to safely hang 2 bikes on the bike rack. The points of the rack that make contact with the vehicle are covered in rubber and foam so that it does not scratch or damage your vehicle in any way. There is a built-in cable lock to secure the bikes to the carrier along with a security strap to secure the carrier to your Mercedes. If you plan on hauling women's, children's, or step-thru bikes, then you will want to add Adapter Bar # TH982XT.
