Hello . I am looking at purchasing equa flex equalizers but am wondering if it makes sense. I also want to add the roadmaster shock system rm2460 does it make sense to do both or not. Thanks

The Lippert Components Equa-Flex system like # LC279688 uses cushioned equalizers that will definitely improve the ride quality of your travel trailer. The exact unit you need will depend on the axle capacity and the dimensions (vertical distance from the center of the hanger bolt hole to a line drawn from the holes where the spring shackles mount, center to center and the center to center shackle bolt spacing). I've provided a photo showing the pertinent measurements.

The Roadmaster # RM-2460 Comfort Ride Shock system could be a good addition for 5200-7000 lb rated tandem axles with a 3 inch diameter axle beam. The parts are compatible, but whether you need it or not will depend on your current ride quality and how much improvement the Equa-Flex provides. You might be better off starting with the Equa-Flex, and if you desire further ride quality improvement after that, then you can install the # RM-2460.
