Roof Rack and Assisted Kayak Carrier Solution for 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon

Looking at 2017 Subaru Outback. Way to carry 2 kayaks ? Due to shoulder problems can not use J saddle or stacker style. Thinking 58 Malone cross bars and Yakima Sweet rollers. My kayaks are 26 and 28 wide. OR If I went top end- I do not think 2 Hullavators would fit across roof of Subaru a 6 cross bar would endanger head when entering and existing. Ive looked at most of your QandA comments and videos- and all seem to recommend J saddle or stacker systems which I can not lift up onto rather than hull saddle systems for use on Subaru O B.

Since the maximum bar space a Thule Hullavator part # TH898 can take up is 28-1/2 inches you'd be able to fit two of them pretty easily on a 58 inch Malone AirFlow2 crossbar for your 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon with the part # MPG216. This would not extend far enough past the roof to become a danger either.
The Hullavator setup is by far the easiest to load so since you have shoulder issues this would give you the best overall solution.
