Question:

I am looking to purchase the Thule Hullavtor Pro Carrier and lift assist TH898 for a Subaru Crosstrek 2020. Will need appropriate cross bars, for the full package. Would like the most economical cross bars,etc for this unit. Can you please recommend. thank you for your time.

The Thule Hullavator Pro - Lift Assist Kayak Carrier # TH898 requires crossbars that have at least 4" of overhang on each side of the roof. You will need to measure from the center of one roof rail to the center of the next roof rail on your 2020 Subaru Crosstrek; if this measurement is less than 50" then you can for sure use Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - Aero Crossbars # MPG216. The Malone crossbars are 58" long and have a weight capacity of 165lbs. They are low-profile and aerodynamic to reduce noise and vibration; they also feature a T-slot track on top of the crossbars which enables many accessories to be mounted.
