Question:
Hi! I currently have a Saris Freedom 4 bike rack and I want to fit it on my 2016 Nissan Altima. The bike rack requires a 2 receiver but the Curt hitch is a 1.25 receiver. Would a 2 to 1.25 adapter do the job to connect both? Thanks for your help!

I have a solution to transport 4 bikes, but because your 2016 Nissan Altima has the 1-1/4" Curt Receiver # C11352 which is a class 1 hitch you are limited to using a 2 bike carrier. Unfortunately, you cannot use the Saris Freedom 4 Bike Platform Rack # SA4414B that you have.
I recommend mounting a 2 bike carrier on the back of your 1-1/4" hitch and then mounting a 2 bike carrier on the roof of your Altima. For a hitch-mounted bike rack I would go with the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style # S64650. This is an excellent bike rack that is very affordable. If you plan to haul a women's, children's, or full-suspension bike then you will need to use Adapter Bar # 64005. This will make sure your bike is secured tightly to the carrier, no matter what frame-design your bike is.
If you do not already have crossbars on your roof then I recommend going with the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars 49" Long # RRVA126S-2. You will also need Leg Kit # RRRLKVA and Fit Kit # DK381. This has a weight capacity of 165lbs. This setup will clamp onto the roof of your Altima; installation is simple and no drilling is required. For the roof-mounted bike rack I would go with 2 of the Thule ProRide XT Roof Bike Rack # TH598004. This will clamp onto the Rhino-Rack Crossbars and provides a bike rack; the weight limit is 44lbs. The ProRide XT has an adjustable arm that clamps onto the bike's frame and will work with various bike shapes and sizes.
I have attached demonstration videos for these products.
