Question:

On the Malone 2 Tier MegaSport Trailer with Saddles for 2 Kayaks - Storage Containers - 1,000 lbs Item # MPG550-TU is the upper tier wide enough to put on two more sets of saddles and is it strong enough not to rip off while driving? In the descriptions is simply says for a lighter boat. I want to be able to transport 4 kayaks at highway speed for longer distances. Please Respond. Thanks

The Malone 2 Tier MegaSport Trailer with Saddles for 2 Kayaks # MPG550-TU is designed to transport 2 kayaks on the bottom bar, but you can also mount more accessories on the top bar. You can use add-on Malone Saddle Up Pro Kayak Carrier # MPG110MD for an extra kayak to be mounted. I don't see any reason why you couldn't mount 2 kayaks on the top section being that the top bar is 58" wide and the add-on Malone Saddles only require a minimum of 24" crossbar spread. Just keep in mind that the top bar has a weight capacity of 150lbs which you do not want to exceed.
