Own 2017 Chevrolet Colorado crew cab 4wd short bed looking to tow behind 2018 F53 class A will add a mad ramp setup and electric golf cart what Roadmaster tow bar anti bind would you recommend and can it be hooked up with 2 point and not the big crossbar

As long as your 2017 Chevrolet Colorado does not have the adaptive cruise control you will be able to use the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-523182-5 which will pair up perfectly with the Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 8K # RM-576. This combination will not require a crossbar to be used.

Since a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado weighs between 3900-4700lbs, the 8000lb rating of the # RM-576 will be plenty even with adding an electric golf cart.

To complete your flat tow setup you will also need wiring, and a supplemental braking system. Since the # RM-576 includes safety cables you will not need to purchase them separately.

For wiring I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 which includes the wiring and diodes needed to wire into your factory harness, and the # RM-576 includes the 6-way connector and 6-way to 7-way cord for powering the lights with your 2018 Ford F53 Class A.

Lastly for a supplemental braking system I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR as it is very easy to install, and since it gets completely removed when you are done flat towing you can use it in multiple towed vehicles if needed. You will also need the 12v Outlet Kit # RM-9332.

You will more than likely need a high-low adapter to level the tow bar to your tow vehicle so I have included a link to a helpful article that goes over how to measure fore the correct adapter, and a link to all of our high-low adapters for you to take a look at.

It is always a good idea to review the recreational towing section of your vehicles owner's manual for any flat tow restrictions or for any special steps required to make your vehicle ready to be flat towed.
