I need a 2017 Chevrolet trailer hitch receptacle, but also need the back of it to rewire and plug into the back.

I believe the 2017 Suburban came with a twist-in 7-way connector like part # PK11916. If it did use a twist-in connector, there will be a locking tab just to the left of the connector as shown in the provided photo. Push in on the tab with a small screwdriver, and the connector will pull free once it's unplugged at the rear. If it doesn't use a twist-in connector, use # A10-7072VP.
There should already be a wiring pigtail in place that's plugged into the rear of the existing 7-way, or if there's just a knock-out, the tow package wiring should be either plugged into the rear of the knockout or located above the spare tire. If it's above the spare tire, there'll be a protective cap on the plug end of the pigtail that will need to be removed. Pull the gray locking tab away from the plug and the cap should pull free.
If the existing pigtail is damaged, the # A10-7072VP replacement would wire into place once the damaged tow package plug is removed.
